Content Guidelines: Crime Themes
Murder, kidnapping, stalking, and organized crime themes
Criminal activity themes can provide compelling fictional scenarios when handled appropriately. Murder, kidnapping, stalking, blackmail, and organized crime content are allowed in fictional contexts with proper tagging and warnings.
All criminal content requires the #Dead Dove tag and clear content warnings. Characters may be involved in criminal activities as perpetrators or victims when it serves narrative purposes without glorifying real crime. However, content based on real criminal events, real criminals, or that targets real individuals is strictly prohibited.
Organized crime content must use fictional group names rather than real criminal organizations. For example, "Mafia" is acceptable while "Cosa Nostra" is not, and "Drug Cartel" is permitted while "Sinaloa Cartel" is prohibited. This distinction helps maintain the fictional nature of the content.
True crime content and bots based on real criminals or their victims are never permitted and may result in account termination. The focus should always be on fictional crime scenarios rather than real-world events or individuals.
