Content Guidelines: Minor Characters and Personas

Strict prohibition on minor-coded characters

JanitorAI maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding any content involving characters who are coded, depicted, or described as minors (anyone under 18 years old). This policy exists to protect minors and ensure our platform remains a safe space for adult users. All minor-coded content is prohibited at minimum and must be removed, with violations potentially resulting in account termination depending on the severity and nature of the content. Even if the bot is intended to be wholesome, if the character is under 18 years of age, it is not allowed.

The most serious violations involve any combination of NSFW content with minor-coded characters, whether through images, character descriptions, or bot coding. When minor characters are combined with sexual or romantic themes, creators face immediate account termination without exception. This includes both explicit sexual content and suggestive or romantic themes involving characters under 18, regardless of how the content is framed or justified.

Minor-coded NPC's are the only exception to this rule, but they require careful handling even in non-sexual family contexts. Minor-coded NPC's cannot have significant coding, dialogue in opening messages, or excessive action sequences, as these violate our policies regarding minor character involvement. However, brief mentions of minors are acceptable when they serve as background elements, such as "the character has a teenage daughter" or "works hard to provide for his family." These references should remain minimal and avoid detailed character development or interaction opportunities with minor characters.

Visual and Descriptive Age Requirements

Even when character descriptions claim a character is 18 or older, visual appearance matters significantly in our content evaluation. If a bot uses an image that appears to show someone under 18, even with adult age coding, the image will be replaced with a placeholder. Creators receive a 24-hour warning to update with an age-appropriate image that clearly depicts an adult. If the character's age is unspecified in the coding, creators must also clarify that the character is an adult. Failure to make these corrections within the 24-hour timeframe results in bot removal and logging of the incident for pattern monitoring.

Characters explicitly coded as minors face removal even when no NSFW content is present. Our platform is designed for adult interactions, and minor characters cannot participate meaningfully in the types of conversations and scenarios our users expect. This applies to both primary characters and background personas within bot scenarios.

Loli and Shota Content

Loli and Shota content represents one of the most serious policy violations on our platform. This content style, which typically features characters with childlike appearances regardless of stated age, is completely prohibited and results in immediate content removal and permanent account termination. There are no exceptions or warnings for this type of content, as it fundamentally conflicts with our commitment to protecting minors and maintaining appropriate community standards.

The underlying principle across all minor-related policies is that both visual presentation and textual description must clearly and unambiguously indicate that all characters are adults. When there's any doubt about a character's age presentation, whether visual or textual, the content violates our policies. Creators should ensure that every aspect of their character creation, from images to descriptions to coded behaviors, consistently presents adult characters to avoid any potential policy violations. The only exception is NPC characters that are only briefly mentioned in passing, for example 'Character works hard to provide for his daughter'.
