Content Guidelines: Slurs

Guidelines for discriminatory language

Slurs aren't allowed in the title of a bot under any circumstance, nor in the image. They are allowed in the coding of a bot under certain circumstances. If the character(s) are portrayed as bigots in a way that serves the narrative purpose and does not actively encourage or glamorize such behavior, then slurs in the coding are allowed. Or, if the character(s) are themselves a part of a minority and slurs are used in a reclaimed manner (i.e., homosexual using the word ‘fag’), then they are allowed. Fictional or fantasy settings, with fictional derogatory slurs used as part of the world building and narrative, are allowed.

If they're used in a way that promotes discriminatory content, or discriminatory attitudes and beliefs, then they aren't allowed, and if they do promote racist or prejudicial ideologies, then they can lead to an account being banned.
