Guidelines for extreme violence themes

Torture themes are permitted within fictional contexts when properly tagged and warned. All torture content must include the #Dead Dove tag and clear content warnings to help users make informed decisions about engagement.

Characters may have histories involving torture or be involved in such scenarios when it serves a narrative purpose without glorifying or encouraging real torture. However, content based on real-world torture events is prohibited, as is any material that targets real individuals or groups or uses real visual depictions of torture.

Fictional visual depictions should be avoided and will be replaced with placeholder images. The focus should be on the psychological or narrative aspects rather than graphic physical details. Content affiliated with groups that promote real torture or that advocates for torturing real people is strictly forbidden.
