Dead Dove and Content Warnings
Dead Dove tag and Content Warnings (CW)
To ensure transparency and informed consent, our platform requires clear labeling of sensitive or potentially triggering content. Certain themes require to be tagged as "Dead dove," and appropriate content warnings; such warnings can either be inserted in a character's blurb/bio, or used as a tag.
Proper tagging and warnings allow users to curate their search pages, and it benefits everyone:
- Users who wish to engage with specific themes will find them more easily
- Users wishing to avoid that content can block certain keywords and decide not to see it
This builds trust within the community, and promote responsible content sharing.
What does it mean? The "Dead Dove" tag labels sensitive content, and signals that a character contains exactly the themes it advertises, and that those themes are present explicitly, seriously, or without softening.
When is the "Dead Dove" tag is required?
Any content that includes the following themes must be tagged with Dead Dove, and include clear, visible and specific content warnings:
- Sexual consent
- Sexual assault (SA)
- Non-consensual (Non-con)
- Dubious consent (Dub-con)
- Consensual non-consent (CNC)
- Violence and abuse
- Murder
- Violence, graphic or non-graphic
- Domestic violence
- Physical abuse
- Psychological or emotional abuse
- Torture
- Cannibalism
- Self-harm and Mental Health
- Self-harm
- Suicide or suicidal ideation
- Eating disorders
- PTSD
- Explicit fetish content
- Vore
- Bloodplay
- Discrimination
- Misogyny, Misandry, Sexism
- Homophobia (internalized or not)
- Racism (fantastical or not)
- Xenophobia (fantastical or not)
- Transphobia (internalized or not)
- Any other type of discrimination based on protected characteristics
- War and exploitation

- Slavery or forced servitude
- Forced prostitution and/or sexual exploitation
- Crime and Criminal Activity
- Organized crime (e.g., gangs, mafia, yakuza, etc.)
- Any specific criminal acts or environments
The following content, while considered potentially triggering, controversial, or sensitive material do not require to be tagged a Dead Dove; it however still requires appropriate content warnings or tags:
- Explicit fetish content
- Watersports (or pissing)
- Scat
- Fart-related content
- ABDL
- Age play
- Relationships
- Infidelity or cheating (does not have to be specific)
- Fauxcest (e.g., adopcest, stepcest, does not have to be specific)
Again, content warnings must be visible, clear, and specific. They cannot be concealed or censored, and must be identifiable by the users in a way that allows them to review them before using your content. Tags and CWs are only mandatory if the piece of content truly contains such themes, there is no need to include warnings if those themes are not hard-coded or mentioned within your bot.
What happens if I don't tag my content, or do not include proper, visible CWs?
In that case, our moderation team will remove tags from your content, and replace them with those deemed necessary.
Content that doesn't contain appropriate tags or CWs will not get removed, unless the misuse of tags and CW is repeated or malicious (e.g., removing added tags, ignoring warnings, spamming unrelated tags for engagement).
