# FAQ: Can I change my username?

You can change your username at any time from your account settings.


### To change your username
1. Go to **Settings**
2. Open the **Profile** section
3. Click the username field located under your profile picture
4. Enter your new username
5. Save your changes

### Username requirements
Your username must meet the following criteria:
1. Between 1 and 44 characters
2. Can only include:
* Letters (A-Z)
* Numbers (0-9)
* Underscores (_)

||| ⚠️ You can only change your username once every 30 days! If you choose the wrong username, our team __cannot change it for you__; you will need to wait 30 days.

| ⚠️ Usernames must comply with our platform rules! Choosing an username that violates these guidelines may result in moderation actions, including the temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
