FAQ: How do I enable NSFW content in the app?

Overview

When you first download the JanitorAI app, you may notice that some bots, images, or chats are restricted or hidden. To comply with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies, NSFW content is disabled by default on the mobile application.

However, you can easily unlock the full experience—making the app identical to the website—by toggling a single setting in your browser.

How to enable NSFW content

You cannot change this specific setting inside the app itself. You must use a web browser (like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox).

1. Go to the Website: Open your web browser and navigate to janitorai.com.
2. Log In: Ensure you are logged into the same account you are using on the app.
3. Open Settings: Go to your user profile and select Settings.
4. Toggle the Permission: Locate the switch labeled "Enable NSFW on Mobile" and turn it ON.
5. Restart the App: Close the JanitorAI mobile app completely (swipe it away from your recent apps) and reopen it.

Once you reopen the app, it will sync with your account settings. All restrictions will be removed, and the app will function exactly like the website.
